    11 am - 8 pm Sunday - Thursday

    11 am - 9 pm Friday & Saturday

  2. Where are you located and do you have parking?

    We are located at 7300 Irving Park Road in Norridge, IL

    There is public parking on Irving Park Rd and some diagonal spots for the store on Octavia Ave.

    Businesses near us have put up signs claiming that spots on Irving park are reserved for their customers, but Irving Park is a state route and does not belong to any business.

    The Harlem Irving mall (HIP) is just on the east side of Octavia and has parking. The east side of Octavia also has some diagonal public parking spots, the west side however requires a special permit.

  3. What items do you sell?

    Only new, unused merchandise:

    • Physical music (CD, vinyl, cassettes.)
    • Physical movies (DVD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD.)
    • Apparel (T-shirts, hoodies, baby onesies, toddler shirts, hats.)
    • Accessories/other items (Tote bags, key chains, mugs. candles, incense, posters, lava lamps,
    • vinyl & CD-related items (record & cassette players.)
  4. What is the return policy?

    No refunds. Exchanges and store credit are available with original receipts and within 30 days of purchase. If the item is unopened and in original sale condition, it may be exchanged for an item of equal or greater value or toward a store credit (issued in the form of a gift certificate).

    If the item is opened or defective, it may only be exchanged for an identical item.

    The replacement item will be opened by the store personnel to play test and/or visually ensure its condition. If necessary, the replacement item will be special ordered. Keep in mind that returns/exchanges are done on a case-by-case basis and may be refused for any reason.

  5. Do you purchase or carry used products?

    No, but many other record stores in the Chicago area do.

    We do not purchase used merchandise and we do not accept donations of used merchandise.

  6. Do you carry releases from local artists or take on consignments?

    Yes. We decide to take consignments on a case-by-case basis. To inquire, email us at info@rollingstonesmusic.com and write “ATTN: Mike” in the subject line.

    We will not buy products outright. (i.e. no cash payouts upon immediate receipt of the product. Payouts are issued as the product is sold.)

  7. Do you sell gift certificates?

    Yes. The gift certificates are paper cards that count as cash in-store. These are not "stored value" credit card-style gift cards. These expire one year after the purchase.

    They're available for $5.00, $10.00, $20.00, and $25.00 dollar amounts (or any combination of those amounts). These can be shipped for an additional fee.— call 708-456-0861.

  8. Can items be put on hold?

    Yes, we can hold items for same day pickup until close. To place the item(s) on hold, call or email us.

  9. Can I order from the website?

    No, we don't have an online store. However, you can place a phone order by calling and providing a credit/debit card. You can also contact us by email to make inquiries on product availability.

  10. If you don't have an item in stock, can it be ordered?

    Yes. All orders require a deposit.

    Items are shipped to the store for customer pick up. We can ship the item to a PO Box or home address for an additional charge.

    Some items may be unavailable due to being out of print or because our distributors are out of stock on an item.

  11. Do you ship?

    Yes, but only within the US. Our shipping fees vary. Give us a call to inquire 708-456-0861.

  12. Are you interested in holding in-stores/events?

    Not at this time.

  13. Do you know what you'll be receiving for Record Store Day?

    Not really. It would be best to check back the week of RSD. We do not hold or do pre-orders for these items, they are available on a first-come first served basis and are limited to one copy per title per customer. We cannot guarantee the availability of any RSD titles.

  14. Do you hold sales?

    No, but we have coupons on our website and in the Illinois Entertainer. We also have sale displays and bins consistently stocked with discounted items.

  15. Are your hiring?

    We are not currently hiring. When we are, we place a “Help Wanted” sign on the front door and/or make a post on our social media pages. During the hiring period, we require that you come into the store to fill out an application. You must be at least 18 years of age, have general work experience (preferably in retail) and be able to work the requested shifts: 11AM to 4PM, 12PM to 8PM, 4PM to 8PM and 4PM to 9PM (Fridays and Saturdays).
